How to Live a Life?

What kind of life do you want? For me, my perfect life would be:
0530 Waking up early, pray, exercise and eat breakfast.
0700 Check my journal on what to do list for that day, clean my house, shopping for groceries, online, browse through web, event etc.
1100 Cook for lunch and dinner, eat lunch, pray, volunteering here and there etc.
1600 Pray, exercise, go for a walk/ gardening, tea.
1800 Dinner, pray.
2100 TV, etc.
2300 Browse through internet, update my blog. List out everything I want to do tomorrow morning etc. and sleep, wake up and so on~ so on~
Yup. Carefree life with no stress and debt is what I needed most and for that I need a decent house with small garden, and of course, infinite money to pay for my food, bill and utilities. Is there any "cheat code" for this life? Please, tell me.*I'm going insane* I know there's a one or two ways, but it involve working until you retired OR invest a lot of money to ASB account  [Amanah Saham Bumiputera..duh~] and live my life with it yearly profit. Let say, if I invest RM3m and the yearly dividend is 10%. At the end of the year I already have RM300,000 to spent. Correct me if I'm wrong. But the problem is, I don't have that money. I don't even have a single cents. I have RM70k study debt to pay. So, if there's someone out there care to lend me RM3m. Please don't hesitate to call me. (=_______=)" So, what kind of life do you want?

TIPS Awal Sebelum Bertudung Labuh

[pic source: HasrulHassan]

4) Bersungguh-sungguh memperbaiki ibadah-ibadah asas seperti solat, puasa & sebagainya.

5) Perbanyakkan membaca al-Quran & mentadabbur (mengkaji) maknanya.

8) Setelah semakin selesa, mulalah memakai pula tudung Tudung Turki/Mesir/Bawal bidang 60.

One day, InsyaAllah~

What Women Want in Marriage

*sebab Lin pun setuju~* v(^__________^)"

I read this article on my sister’s blog some time ago and want to share it here because as a woman and a wife myself, I couldn’t agree more. It’s what every woman wants and what every husband should at least know and do their best to be one.

Women get married to find a special friend. They want someone who will…

Share their secrets
Laugh and joke with them
Love them unconditionally
Cherish and adore them while being romantic
Making them feel beautiful
She wants a man strong in his deen. Someone who can stand up and take the responsibility of the household, and help raise their children in accordance with Islam.

They want someone who will be attracted to them emotionally through their personality, and attracted to them through their bodies. A woman wants a partner who will strive together with her through this life. Laughing and rejoicing through the good times. Sticking by each other and supporting each other through the bad times. A woman wants her husband to be her friend, companion and her soulmate.

Any good husband MUST realize that a woman’s primary need is EMOTIONAL. He must take into account the prophetic tradition. And strive to be the BEST to his wife. He must take care of their wives and this entails treating them with love and respect, and striving to make them happy as men have been assigned this responsibility by Allah. If a husband can fulfill his wife’s primary needs, not only Allah would reward him, but his wife will definitely be content with him, and together the couple’s life will be more harmonious.

When a woman’s needs are fulfilled, she will be MORE willing to fulfill her husband’s needs. The BEST way to satisfy a woman’s emotional needs is to LISTEN to her and respond to her with COMPASSION. By listening to her intently, with your undivided attention, and taking a genuine interest in what she has to say, she will feel loved, cherished and important. And men must realize that when she approaches you with her problems, she doesn’t necessarily want solutions, she just wants a sympathy and understanding.

To have a successful relationship, both must understand each other’s needs. A husband must take into account that a woman’s needs and expectations are different than a man’s, and vice versa. If a woman and man finds a complete, fulfilling relationship, it is then that…a great intimacy for both has been achieved!

“When a woman’s needs are fulfilled, she will be more willing to fulfill her husband’s needs” —-> Don’t we all agree with this, women? It’s kinda like, “you get what you give”. If you give good, you’ll get good in return. If you treat your wife badly, she might refuse to fulfill your needs or treat you well. Memang isteri wajib patuh arahan suami selagi tak bercanggah dengan Islam but women are only human. Women have emotions too and not to mention, mood swings, PMS, menopause, etc etc. A wife is always willing to pattern her husband’s attitudes so the next time your wife is giving you the silent treatment or if something is wrong with your marriage, ask yourself what have you done (or what have you not done) instead of blaming her. There’s always a reason why she’s acting the way she is.

When you are loving, compassionate, understanding and able to provide with your wife’s emotional needs (as well as other things), she will be content with you and be willing to provide you with your needs and do her duties as a wife. Senang cerita, treat your wife the way you would like to be treated. Even the Prophet Muhammad SAW said, “The most perfect Muslim in the matter of faith is one who has excellent behavior; and the best among you are those who behave best towards their wives”.

So men, treat your women right! It’s among the greatest responsibilities that has been placed upon you. After all, don’t you men want to be the dream guy – the “Mr. Right” for your partner?
Be a man! (mimicking Russell Peters). Be the man.

Thank you.

Ramadhan ke-6

Layan Youtube.
It's Thursday! and esok Friday *obviously*. Sedihnya, esok dah balik Ipoh semula and hari Isnin dah start praktikal dekat Klinik Kesihatan Greentown [KKG]. Dah tak dapatlah nak makan sedap-sedap yang ibu Lin masak. Silap-silap tak sampai akhir bulan depan dah kena ikat perut sebab banyak benda nak kena bayar next week. (>_________<)"
This week jarang update blog, as tak ada apa yang menarik pun nak diceritakan. Macam biasa bila balik JB, tengok TV, internet, pergi pasar, pergi Kip Mart, pergi Tesco and oh yeah~ I do some baking which didn't go well.
I decided to make apple pie. Biasanya beli pre-made pastry jenama Pampas tu, tapi tak jumpa dekat pun dekat mana-mana; dah satu Pasir Gudang Lin cari. So, Lin buat pie crust sendiri. Tak sure apa yang salah, pie crust tu jadi macam tart. Tekstur tart, rasa tart, and bau pun macam tart. So at the end jadi tart epal la. Mungkin salah resepi kot.

Oh, please KKG be kind to me~

Unboxing: Sunbeam Pie Magic 2

Salam Ramadhan semua~ Kali ni Lin nak cerita tentang Sunbeam Pie Magic 2 yang Lin dapat dari Majlis Wowww 1001 GA by Kak Ida Sabtu lepas. Bukan senang nak jumpa pie maker dekat Malaysia ni and seingat Lin, Lin tak pernah nampak pun pie maker dekat mana-mana. Kegunaan pie maker ni mestilah for obvious reason, buat pie. Tapi terpulanglah atas kreativiti awak-awak semua nak buat apa pun. Huhuhu~
This is what it look like:
Bila buka, we can see this:
Which is free Special Recipe book, instruction booklet and leaflet about another product by Sunbeam.
Pie maker, outside the box:
Pie maker, inside.
Pastry cutter, I guess. Of course disertakan sekali dalam box ni.
Pie base.
Pie top.
Disebabkan plug dia macam ni:
Kita kena beli plug macam ni lah sebab ianya tidak disertakan.
Sunbeam Pie Magic 2: Pie, In The Making.
 Lin guna Pampas Shortcrust pastry.
Segera je walaupun sebenarnya nak buat pie pastry punyalah mudah.
(+____________+)
Lenyek-lenyekkan sampai rata then terap.
Sebelum tu panaskan pie maker ni sekejap, kalau first time guna kena bubuh minyak sikt lepas tu lap.
Masa 1st time Lin guna Sunbeam Pie Magic 2 ni, Lin buat apple pie.
Filling dia sama dengan resepi Apple Crumble Lin.
Apple Hijau [Granny Smith], Gula halus, serbuk kayu manis.
Then siap!
Another batch:
Kelebihan guna Sunbeam Pie Magic 2 ni:
Boleh buat 2 pie dalam masa 8 minit.
Senang dibersihkan sebab non-stick.
Kesimpulannya? Memang best!

Stay tune for my other recipe juga. Thanks Kak Ida

Salam Ramadhan Semua~

Me and my only one lil' sis camwhoring @Tesco siang tadi.
Salam Ramadhan.
XOXO.

Paling pendek. pfffttt~~~!

Beauty No-No When You're Pregnant

Hari-hari Lin tengok Youtuber It Judy's Life since dia buat daily vlog bersama her husband, Benji [from the first day they both get married last year, SUPER SWEET. And currently, she's pregnant. Yeah~ sekarang tak silap Lin dah 6 bulan. OK. Stop. Hari ni Lin nak kongsi article, harap membantu.
v(^____________^)v
1. RETINOID
Aliases: isotretinoin, tretinoin, acitretin, etretinate, adapalene, tazarotene, Vitamin A, retin-A
Found in: prescription treatments for acne and psoriasis (including brand names Accutane, Retin-A, Renova, Amnesteem, Soriatane, Claravis, Sotret, Tegison, Differin, Tazorac) and certain types of cancer (Vesanoid and Targretin).
What they do: unblock pores of oil glands that cause nodular acne and psoriasis. Limited research indicates they may reverse sun damage, reduce wrinkles and treat and possibly prevent certain types of cancer.
Why the red flag: Retinoids are the big, bad no-no. Oral treatments containing them have been directly linked to miscarriages and birth defects. Although research suggests that topical retinoids (Retin-A, Renova) do not pose the same risk, enough concerns exist regarding their safety that you should seek the okay from your derm and OB/GYN before you even consider using them.
2. PHTHALATE
Aliases: dibutyl phthalate (DBP), diethylhexyl phthalate (DEHP)
Found in: nail/cuticle treatments, lipstick, anti-aging products, fragrance
What they do: They're plasticizers that add texture and luster to cosmetics, help fragrances last longer or absorb into the skin better, and make nail polish chip-resistant.
Why the red flag: Research says exposure might be linked to developmental and reproductive toxicity, particularly to male fetuses. There's enough concern about the safety of DBP that Urban Decay completely discontinued the use of phthalates in its line of nail polishes. Even if a product contains phthalates, the label might not list it as an ingredient if it is a component of a fragrance because the ingredients in a fragrance are protected under trade secret laws. If this is a concern, buy "fragrance-free" products.
3. PARABENS
Alias: sodium methylparaben, methylparaben, ethylparaben, propylparaben, butylparaben
Found in: moisturizer, shampoo, conditioner, anti-aging products, sunscreen, toner/astringent, makeup
What they do: They are preservatives that protect products from bacterial growth
Why the red flag: Limited research indicates parabens may disrupt the body's hormone systems, and there is enough concern about methylparaben that it has been banned or deemed unsafe for use in certain cosmetics in the European Union.
4. FRAGRANCE
Alias: perfume, parfum, cologne, scent, deodorant
Found in: Just about everything from moisturizer, perfume and lipstick to self-tanner and deodorant
What they do: Fragrance is generally used to mask the unfriendly odors of chemicals used in a product or to make the product smell more appealing.
Why the red flag: Because individual ingredients in "fragrance" are protected by trade secret laws, companies are not required to divulge ingredients -- some of which may pose risks. There is no legal definition of the term "fragrance-free," so even if a product is marketed as such, it may still contain a masking fragrance.

5. TOLUENE
Alias: methylbenzene
Found in: nail products
What it does: It's an industrial solvent (liquid that can dissolve chemical substances) that allows nail polish to go on smoothly and stick to the nail.
Why the red flag: There is a high risk for developmental and reproductive toxicity, including brain and cell damage, when exposed to large doses of toluene, particularly when it is inhaled. Although it is still found in nail products, it has been deemed unsafe for use in cosmetics by the International Fragrance Association Codes and Standards.
6. FORMALDEHYDE
Found in: nail-strengthening and cuticle treatments, hair color/bleaching, styling gel/lotion
What it does: Formaldehyde is a preservative, disinfectant and hardener in cosmetic products
Why the red flag: The Cosmetic Ingredient Review Council has recommended limiting the use of it in cosmetics because of proven links to cancer and reproductive/developmental toxicity toluene. It has been banned or found unsafe in cosmetics in Japan and is restricted in cosmetics in Canada.
7. P-PHENYLENEDIAMINE
Aliases: PPD, PPDA
Found in: hair color/bleaching, hairspray, shampoo and conditioner
What it does: hair colorant
Why the red flag: This is the chemical that started all of the worry about getting your hair dyed while pregnant. High exposure has been linked to reproductive/developmental toxicity and cancer, and there's strong evidence that it's neurotoxic (a substance that damages the nervous system).
8. OXYBENZONE
Alias: benzophenone
Found in: sunscreen
What it does: absorbs ultraviolet light
Why the red flag: While the risk is not as high as retinoids, there is limited research showing links to developmental toxicity and hormonal disruptions with high exposure.
