First Wednesday, July: Gulab Jamun

Baru balik makan malam dekat Dataran MBI. Before tu singgah sekejap Ananda Bahwan dekat Pekan Ipoh beli Gulab Jamun, my favourite Indian sweet. Dari semalm asyik teringat, so alang-alang merayap sampai ke pekan, Lin terus beli.
Rasanya ramai yang tak tahu Gulab Jamun tu apa kan? Gulab Jamun ni manisan kaum India. According to TitlisBusyKitchen, Gulab Jamun ni diperbuat dari tepung dan susu lepas tu buat bulat-bulat then goreng. Lepas goreng, masuk dalam sirap yang sudah diletak air mawar, saffron and buah pelaga.
Online sambil makan Gulab Jamun.
Rasanya? Bagi Lin, sedap sangat. Especially kalau makan dengan aiskrim vanilla. Rasa susu. Selalunya Gulab Jamun ni dijual dekat keda-kedai makanan India, as in Ipoh it normally cost RM1 each.
Kalau kawan-kawan yang sweet tooth and come across kedai-kedai yang jual manisan India. Ask for Gulab Jamun. Mesti best.

Manisan apa yang best?
